R.J. Hampton to skip college, turn pro in New Zealand
Posted May 28, 2019
R.J. Hampton, a top five recruit in the Class of 2019 and a player that Kansas, Memphis and Texas Tech had hoped would be the addition they needed to make them a favorite to win the 2020 national title, announced Tuesday that he will not attend college. Hampton, instead, is heading to New Zealand, spending his one-and-done season playing as a professional.
