Tyler Baum to Start UNC’s NCAA Baseball Tournament Opener Posted May 30, 2019 North Carolina will pitch junior righty Tyler Baum against UNCW in the opening game of the Chapel Hill Regional on Friday (2 p.m./ESPN3). Baum (7-3, 3.78 ERA) has been UNC’s most consistent starter since a rough outing at Clemson to open the ACC slate.
