Myers Park High quarterback Drake Maye makes his words count. Ask him about his team’s chances this winter to win the first N.C. 4AA state football championship in school history and Maye says flatly that it’s going to happen. Ask him if he’s 1going to play football at UNC, and Maye says this: “Carolina is there with everyone else. I just want to enjoy the process.” (Charlotte Observer)
