USWNT midfielder Allie Long shares the impact her grandfather, George, had on her as a person and player. A big part of his life was dedicated to helping her foster the passion for the game that helped Long earn a spot on her first World Cup Team. Although he passed away in 2018, she will carry his spirit to the World Cup this summer.
