I wasn’t sure if I wanted to tell my story. But I now realize that I need to confront my depression. Opening up is something that I never thought I’d do but, because of a few people that have truly saved my life, I believe it’s important to share my experiences. To declare without guilt, embarrassment, shame, or hatred that I am Jake Lawler and I am depressed. (Jake Lawler)
