Aaron Sabato Named NCBWA National Freshman Hitter of the Year


North Carolina first baseman has been named the 2019 National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association National Freshman Hitter of the Year. Sabato, the ACC Freshman of the Year, posted a .343 batting average and drove in 63 RBI for Carolina this season. Sabato also set a new single-season UNC freshman record with 18 home runs.
