The Tar Heels found the perfect way to offset Georgia Tech’s hot hand from 3-point range Wednesday. They passed the ball to freshman center Tyler Hansbrough and got out of the way. The powerful 6-foot-9 Hansbrough pushed, pulled and wiggled his way inside for an ACC freshman record 40 points as the No. 23-ranked Tar Heels pulled out an 82-75 win over the Yellow Jackets.
