Five Tar Heels Help USA Win World Cup Title

Five former UNC women's soccer players were part of the 2019 United States World Cup Championship that defeated the Netherlands 2-0 for the title. Forward Tobin Heath and defender Crystal Dunn stated six of seven games for the U.S. in France while midfielder Allie Long, forward Jessica McDonald, and goalkeeper Ashlyn Harris were all reserves.
