Five Tar Heels Help USA Win World Cup Title

Five former UNC women's soccer players were part of the 2019 United States World Cup Championship that defeated the Netherlands 2-0 for the title. Forward and defender stated six of seven games for the U.S. in France while midfielder , forward , and goalkeeper were all reserves. (Inside Carolina)
