Profile of UNC baseball commitment Joseph Charles

At 6’3”, 190 pounds, Joseph Charles has an excellent pitching frame. He throws from a three-quarters arm slot, short arming the ball. His pitches have deception as a result, but scouts point to his short arm and high elbow as the reason for his below-average command. Charles’ fastball can touch as high as 97 MPH, but more consistently in the low-to-mid-90s. (Amazin' Avenue)
