UNC, ACC Entering New Broadcast Era

Television technology has advanced significantly since North Carolina's 1957 undefeated national championship season, with UNC and other schools now producing their own TV broadcasts of sporting events. As the ACC Network prepares for its launch on Aug. 22, let’s reflect on the history of Carolina sports on television and take a glimpse into the future.
