Havelock’s Bruce Carter ready to enter ninth NFL season

Longevity isn't that common in the NFL. People jokingly call the league “Not For Long” because of the physicality of football, but Bruce Carter had his own goals coming into the league in 2011 and he’s almost there. The Havelock native played high school for the Rams, then played at North Carolina, and is about to enter his ninth season in the NFL.
