UNC Summer Baseball Update - The Playoffs are in Sight

The good news for the only remaining Tar Heel on the Cape, Austin Love, is that his Orleans Firebirds are in third place and four games ahead of the Brewster Whitecaps. There’s still a week and a half left for the Whitecaps to get back involved, but it’s looking good for Love to make the playoffs. Closer to home, the Coastal Plain League is more complicated.
