Carolina Panthers Waive Running Back Elijah Hood

The Carolina Panthers made three roster moves on the eve of the team's first training camp practice. Carolina on Wednesday waived running back Elijah Hood, a Charlotte native who played college football at North Carolina. Hood spent last season on the Panthers' injured reserve after suffering a leg injury on the opening kickoff of the fourth preseason game. (Carolina Panthers)
