Louisville freshman point guard David Johnson to miss several months after injuring shoulder


Louisville’s David Johnson injured a left shoulder in practice on Monday and will be sidelined for up to six months, the program announced Thursday. He will undergo surgery soon, although no timetable was given. There is a chance that Johnson will be able to return as soon as four months from now, which would slot him to return in late-November.
