UNC Wrestler Gabriel Tagg Heads To Estonia To Compete In Junior Worlds

UNC freshman Gabriel Tagg will wrestle at the Junior World Championships this week, representing the United States at 61kg. Tagg earned the World Team spot in May with his best-of-three series win over fellow UNC standout Jaime Hernandez at the World Team Trials in Raleigh. UNC assistant Tony Ramos will travel with Tagg to coach him in the tournament.
