Duke versus UNC: Atypical freshman drives Heels
Posted Feb 7, 2006
Tyler Hansbrough, who turned 20 in November, isn’t an average freshman. He’s older and more polished than your everyday rookie post player. But he’s also never gone head-to-head with Shelden Williams, Duke’s 6-foot-9, 250-pound shot-blocking artist who was voted the nation’s top defensive player as a junior. That transition period takes place tonight at the Smith Center when 23rd-ranked North Carolina faces No. 2 Duke.
