Puff Johnson Transferring to Hillcrest Prep in Phoenix

Moon, Pa. basketball star Puff Johnson is transferring to Hillcrest Prep in Phoenix, Ariz., said his father Gil. The decision was finalized Monday. Johnson was ruled ineligible next season at Moon under a PIAA rule that restricts athletes to six interscholastic seasons starting in seventh grade. Because Johnson repeated a grade, he’s already reached that limit.
