UNC field hockey beats Duke in exhibition game in penalty shots

The North Carolina field hockey team won its exhibition game against Duke in penalty shots on Saturday afternoon in Durham. The game was tied at 4-4 through two overtime periods before the Tar Heels outshot the Blue Devils 3-2 in the penalty period. UNC senior midfielder Catherine Hayden scored the first goal of the game against the Blue Devils.
