Sam Howell Continues To Impress, But Jace Ruder Could Factor, Too

As of right now, Sam Howell will start at quarterback against South Carolina and it’s likely Jace Ruder also will get some playing time. The quarterback situation finally appears to be more ironed out than it ever has been since Mack Brown took over in Nov. 2018 and that’s good news as the Tar Heels officially prepare to enter a new era in Chapel Hill.
