“Miller Time” at North Carolina used to come in the closing minutes of a Tar Heels blowout — you know, when Raymond Felton would get that “Thanks for the romp” standing ovation and Wes Miller would replace him, taking the court with guys such as Charlie Everett and C.J. Hooker. Now Miller Time begins at tip-off with the junior guard holding down a starting guard position the way Phil Ford and Michael Jordan and Vince Carter used to.
