North Carolina freshman quarterback Sam Howell was very impressive in his first start, leading two fourth quarter touchdown drives allowing UNC to start the season with a 24-20 upset win against South Carolina. For the game, Howell was 15-of-24 for 245 yards and two touchdowns.
