North Carolina Outlasts Miami 28-25

Another Power 5 opponent, another Sam Howell game-winning touchdown pass in the fourth quarter. The freshman phenom directed a 75-yard scoring drive in the final minutes to lift UNC past Miami, 28-25, in front of a sold-out crowd at Kenan Stadium on Saturday. Miami took its first lead at 25-20 with 4:38 to play. That’s when Howell got to work.
