State Championship Back in Play For UNC Football

Mack Brown created the North Carolina state championship as a motivational and recruiting tactic some 30 years ago as he sought to elevate his football program. Now that the Hall of Fame coach has returned to Chapel Hill, the mythical trophy is back on the line as the Tar Heels prepare to play Wake Forest in a non-conference game on Friday.
