Lots of blue chips to wear UNC blue

The Heels outrecruited North Carolina's other four Division I-A programs by a considerable margin within the state. Of the Heels' 28 signees, 17 are in-state players and 20 attended their summer camp. UNC signed four of the top 10-ranked North Carolina players -- Aleric Mullins, receivers Hakeem Nicks and Deunta Williams and defensive back Shaun Draughn -- and 11 of its top 30. N.C. State, by comparison, landed three of the recruiting Web site's top 30.
