Sam Howell aims to become a vocal leader moving forward for UNC football

Sam Howell doesn’t say too much. His answers to the media are typically short and sweet, and his teammates describe him as being fairly quiet. Junior receiver Beau Corrales said the freshman quarterback isn’t a "rah-rah type of guy” after UNC’s season-opening win over South Carolina. “But the confidence he has," Corrales said, "you can feel that."
