No. 11 North Carolina men's soccer held No. 16 Notre Dame to one shot on goal Friday for a dominant 2-0 win before the home crowd in Chapel Hill (Highlights). The Tar Heels outshot the Fighting Irish 15-7 as Jelani Pieters scored the game-winning goal in the 14th minute while Blake Malone doubled the lead in the 68th minute with his first college goal.
