With backup quarterback Jace Ruder suffering an injury in Saturday’s loss to Appalachian State, the Tar Heels are likely heading into Saturday’s game against Clemson with one scholarship quarterback available in starter Sam Howell. As a precaution and to maybe take some of the load off Howell, Chazz Surratt is getting reps at quarterback. (Tar Heel Illustrated)
