Mack and Dabo: Coaches have long history, but this will be their first on-field meeting


A little more than a decade ago, not long after Dabo Swinney went from interim to head coach at Clemson, he took his staff on a trip to Austin, Texas. There they spent several days with then-Texas coach and his staff, gleaning information from a program coming off a 12-1 season and three years removed from the school’s fourth national title.
