UNC LB Jonathan Smith Enters Transfer Portal

North Carolina senior linebacker Jonathan Smith has put his name in the NCAA transfer portal, a UNC spokesperson confirmed. Smith played 26 games and made eight starts during his Tar Heel career. However, he fell behind once Mack Brown arrived in Chapel Hill. He was sidelined for spring ball and suspended the first two games this season for academics.
