It took six weeks and a trip beyond the state borders for North Carolina to play a game that was decided well before the final minute. It’s been an exhilarating ride for Mack Brown and his Tar Heels through the first half of the 2019 season, although they can now enter their first bye week as Coastal Division contenders with postseason eligibility in reach.
