Manning & O'Brien Awards Honor QB Sam Howell For Week 6

North Carolina true freshman quarterback Sam Howell has been selected to both the Davey O'Brien Award's Great 8 list and a Manning Award Star of the Week for week 6 of the college football season. Howell set UNC freshman records for completions (33), attempts (51) and yards (376) in the Tar Heels' 38-22 victory against Georgia Tech in Atlanta. (GoHeels.com)
