Eight UNC Women's Soccer alumnae to take part in NWSL playoffs

Dean Smith’s famous quote that North Carolina "is a women’s soccer school" still holds true. Eight UNC women’s soccer alumnae begin play in the NWSL playoffs this weekend. The number is nine if you count one player who played two seasons in Chapel Hill before transferring. The defending champion North Carolina Courage hosts the most Tar Heels.
