UNC shortstop not graceful, but gets the job done


North Carolina made it to the postseason as one of the best teams in the country, receiving the No. 2 overall seed for the NCAA Tournament. To coach , the Tar Heels needed something more. They needed Ryan Graepel, a light-hitting shortstop, in the lineup on a regular basis. More importantly, they needed a dose of defensive consistency. (Gaston Gazette)
