Dax McCarty Chosen Sixth Overall In MLS SuperDraft


Former North Carolina All-America midfielder was chosen with the sixth overall pick by FC Dallas Friday in the 2006 Major League Soccer SuperDraft at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. McCarty is the Tar Heels' fifth first-round selection since 1996 and first since David Stokes went fifth overall to D.C. United in 2003. (Tar Heel Blue)
