Alex Halpin Named ACC Field Hockey Defensive Player of the Week

After making her first two starts of the season this past weekend, UNC goalkeeper Alex Halpin was rewarded Tuesday by being named ACC Field Hockey Defensive Player of the Week. Halpin made a trio of saves in the Tar Heels’ win over No. 13 Boston College on Friday, before posting a shutout in the UNC's 1-0 win over No. 19 Old Dominion on Sunday.
