Tar Heels whip N.C. State
Posted Jan 8, 2006
N.C. State didn’t score on its final eight possessions, missing five shots and committing three turnovers. "Coaches said in the locker room that this game was going to come down to someone giving in,” said freshman guard Marcus Ginyard, whose Tar Heels posted the game’s final 13 points. “And it’s not going to be North Carolina. I think North Carolina State gave in and we were there pushing them to that point.”
