Cole Anthony Leads UNC Past Notre Dame

Cole Anthony lived up to his preseason expectations and then some in No. 9 North Carolina’s season-opening 76-65 victory over Notre Dame on Wednesday. The McDonald’s All-American scored 23 of his 34 points after halftime in his Tar Heel debut. Anthony’s 34 points represent a UNC school record for the most points scored in a debut.
