North Carolina Prevails Over UNCW in Road Opener

It took UNC nearly 30 minutes to build a comfortable margin against C.B. McGrath’s UNCW Seahawks in its 78-62 win on Wednesday. UNCW led midway through the first half before UNC took control with a 8-0 run to lead 40-29 at halftime. The Tar Heels delivered the knockout with a 10-0 run in the second half to take a 59-40 lead with 11:52 to play.
