12 semi-finalists were announced for the Butkas Award, an honor given to the best linebacker in college football. Glaringly left off the list was UNC's , whose statistics place the converted QB right in the middle with the finalists. Among the 12, Surratt is second in tackles, fourth in tackles-for-a-loss, third in sacks, and fourth in quarterback hurries. (Inside Carolina)
