Sara Daavettila Wins ITA Fall Championship Singles Title


UNC's closed out her final fall tournament in style by winning the ITA Fall National Championship singles title on Sunday in Newport Beach. Daavettila, the No. 8 seed, defeated No. 6 seed Anna Turati from Texas, 7-6 (5), 6-1. The win wrapped up an impressive showing that saw her notch six victories in the event with five against top-50 players. (GoHeels.com)
