Entering the ACC Women's Soccer Championship game, Virginia was one of only two undefeated teams in the nation and had spent the past eight weeks at No. 1. North Carolina hadn't defeated a top-ranked team since November 30, 2012, when it knocked off Stanford in the NCAA Tournament semifinals. Nor had it faced the Cavaliers this season. (GoHeels.com)
