With big seasons predicted for junior first-team preseason All-Americas Daniel Bard and Andrew Miller, the University of North Carolina sits at No. 6 in the Baseball America Preseason Top 25. The preseason ranking is the highest for the Tar Heels since the B.J. Surhoff and Scott Banklead led team of 1984 was rated fourth to open the season.
