UNC Rises to No. 5 in AP Men’s Basketball Top 25 Poll

Thanks to a surprise upset by unranked Evansville over previous No. 1 Kentucky, North Carolina was able to slide up one spot to No. 5 in this week’s Associated Press Men’s Basketball Top 25. UNC’s only game this past week was a 77-61 home victory over Gardner-Webb on Friday. This marks the Tar Heels’ first appearance in the top five this season. (Chapelboro.com)
