National mile champion, 6x state champ Taryn Parks signs with Tar Heels

Surrounded by family, friends, coaches, and community on Monday, Taryn Parks announced her decision to commit to the University of North Carolina. A three-time cross country national qualifier, the 2019 New Balance national indoor mile champion, and a six-time Pennsylvania state champ, Parks garnered the attention of the nation’s top schools.
