Michigan outscored the Tar Heels, 21-2, to begin the second half to extend the Wolverines' lead to 24. UNC pulled within eight at 61-69 and had three shot attempts with under two minutes to play to get closer, but missed all three. UNC shot a season-low 50 percent from the free throw line (10 of 20) and season-low 15.4 percent from three (2 of 13).
