UNC made 20 of 21 free throws for 95.2 percent. It was UNC's best free throw percentage (min. 20 attempts) since 2007. Armando Bacot is the first Tar Heel with 23 points, 12 rebounds, and six blocks since 1995, when Rasheed Wallace had the same line at Virginia.
