North Carolina's win over Oregon on Friday, which put UNC in third place for the Battle 4 Atlantis, allowed coach Roy Williams to pass Adolph Rupp on the wins chart with 877 victories, leaving him just two wins shy of tying his mentor, Dean Smith, at 879.
