Virginia soaks in first victory over Virginia Tech since 2003

The Virginia football team ended its 15-game losing streak to rival Virginia Tech in dramatic fashion on Friday in Charlottesville, rallying from multiple second-half deficits to beat the Hokies, 39-30, at Scott Stadium. Making Friday’s win even sweeter for the Cavaliers was the fact that it clinched the first Coastal Division championship in program history. (Charlottesville Daily Progress)
