Sam Howell finishes year as ACC passing yards leader

North Carolina quarterback Sam Howell put together an impressive freshman campaign and ended the regular season as the ACC leader in passing yards. His 3,347 passing yards were the most by any quarterback in the conference as he averaged 278.9 yards per game. That was more than Trevor Lawrence, Bryce Perkins, and Jamie Newman, among others.
