Secrets of Karen Shelton’s success


Since 1981, 's teams have won eight NCAA titles, 22 ACC championships and 11 NCAA second-place finishes. Twelve of the past 13 seasons, Shelton led UNC to the Final Four, winning the title again just last week and in 2018, 2009, and 2007. In 2008, Shelton was inducted into the National Field Hockey Coaches Association Hall of Fame. (UNC.edu)
